Danielle Price is a high school guidance counselor in New Fairfax, Massachusetts. But she has a secret. In her previous job as a history teacher in New Jersey, she helped prevent a mass shooting in her classroom with three students’ help. Five years later, one of these students warns her that the other two students involved have died under suspicious circumstances, and she thinks they will be next.
When this student is also murdered, Dani attempts to prevent the person from killing again, even if it means going outside the boundaries of the law. As events unfold, Dani slowly comes to believe that in a society where the system is often rigged against women, a woman’s work is never done.
